These are mainly drawings in charcoal and graphite. Drawings are not only among the most efficient means of communicating visual ideas but they are also used for analysis of light and material representation. I use different medias (e.g. charcoal, graphite) in trying to represent different materials (e.g. plastic, fabric, metal). I also like to incorporate dreamy subjects mixed up with reality. Some of these portraits are from close friends and family.
